During my time working on the social media team at Vancouver Whitecaps FC, I managed and created engaging content across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube & LinkedIn.
After interning with the team in the summer of 2022, I was asked to come back part-time as a Social Media Coordinator to produce game day content on social media channels while I completed my undergraduate degree.
#CatchTheFinal Campaign
Leading up to the 2022 Canadian Championship Final, I planned and led a social media countdown campaign that featured members of the Whitecaps community as well as Vancouver celebrities.

The campaign resulted in record ticket sales for the match.
​
Even though I faced a lot of challenges, I'm proud that I took on such a big project as an intern and worked hard to make it happen.
Whitecaps 2 in MLS NextPro
My first season with the Whitecaps was the inaugural year of MLS Next Pro. I was put in charge of social media for the Whitecaps second team, which was a part of the new feeder league.

I live tweeted games, clipped and edited goals from live feeds, created TikToks and worked on improving the game day graphics to optimize engagement.
Lighthearted TikToks and Reels
These were some of the most fun videos to make and they got great engagement on our social channels.

During the internship, I learned how to edit videos on Premiere Pro by putting together multiple TikToks and Reels. Now I edit videos regularly and have gained experience with long form content as well.
